I would appreciate any assistance to reformat my laptop. I had followed the instructions which are 1)insert EXTHS cd 2)Insert Master CD. I done this 3 times but still fail to reconfigure my laptop to original factory setting. I 'think' Master CD was successfully copied to hard drive and according to manual, Windows XP will install(from hard drive) automatically after that. But that is not the case. It is able to boot until Windows XP Welcome Screen but that was it.(even though laptop not 100% freeze, but the screen stay there as the battery permit) Could it be the faulty built-in card reader?(this is the cause which I opted to reformat my laptop in the 1st place). I bought this laptop in Malaysia and currently am residing in Netherlands. NEC Amsterdam do not want to assist whatsoever...
