Amazon customer buys RTX 5090, receives rice, pasta, and mystery GPU instead

That's more than I got 4 weeks ago I order a whole system and included was a Gigabyte 5070 from Newegg and it came with nothing in the box but foam and when I put in a request for replacement they pretty much said I was a liar and stole it myself and are now refusing to answer my emails and calls.

Speaking strictly for myself, I've always wanted to grow up to be a pompous, condescending, guidance counselor. Would you approve of such a lofty aspiration?

As for, "loftier goals and aspirations", if I want t know who's going to bring about, "world piece", or, "end world hunger", all I have to do is watch the "Miss America Pageant". Who knows, maybe the 2nd runner up will dial back her ambitions, and find this poor guy's 5090. At the very least she should cook him dinner.

You think consumers have that much power with so little evidence? They say no, you go to the AG and fill out all of their forms, but then there are no updates for 12 months, so what do you do then?

Amazon doesn't have any evidence the items was stolen and swapped with something else, and the buyer doesn't either. So how are you going to tell Amazon they scammed you without evidence when Amazon has just as much evidence that you scammed them?

Consumer laws don't require the citizen to prove they're not being dishonest. That is the retailer's responsibility and obligation. If they are. Law enforcement.

Good catch. In my own defense, I do usually get "two, too, to", and, "their, there, and they're", correct. Although sometimes it's weeks or months later.
