N nobardin Posts: 256 +2 Nov 28, 2008 #2 I think you would probably need an actual vista disc to be able to repair. The recovery partition is like a recovery CD that you would get with a new pc and would just revert your computer back to the way it was out of the box (If I am not mistaken)
