Chrome, Opera, and Safari are such great browsers; Chomre being the best for me, but still they can't beat Firefox. I wonder...

Yeah, Speed, blah blah blah.... Let's talk about OVERALL: Speed, stability and usability.Firefox is king when those three are concerned.

Been using Safari 5 on windows. Beside its speed, there is really nothing to distinguish it from the other browsers. Safari reader to me is an distraction b/c it blocks everything including relevant materials like the news video's posted with the articles.

It probably has the worst GUI responsiveness in Windows with Safari momentarily freezing (1-2 seconds) when it is rendering javascript heavy websites. Everything else it does is roughly comparable to all the other major browsers. Also all the HTML 5 stuff underhood is not even utilized by any websites b/c of Safari's minuscule market share.

In fact I went into "IPAD MODE", turning off all proprietary plugins, and went to youtube, turned on the HTML 5 player beta, then the first notice I receive when I try to watch a youtube video is "flash not installed."

The whole experience just screams "eh...ok." If you already using Safari, then continue to use it. If you are using other browsers then Safari 5 really bring anything new to the table.
