Inactive Several viruses took out internet, desktop, drives and who knows what else ugh!

Definitely we have some serious issue with missing drivers.

Go to your computer manufacturer site and see if they have chipset driver.
If so, download and install it.
Let me know how it went.

reinstalling chipset did not work
Im attempting to reinstall ethernet driver with copy of disc on my usb drive
I appreciate the help

I think Ive had enough, Im saving my data on an external drive and exporting email data. Then reformatting and starting over.
Thank you for your help

what are the chances that after a reformat I still have no cd rom accces?
would removing the battery from the MB and reset cmos work instead?

well removing the battery was not helpful
but It wont let me format the drive
I disconnected the four other drives I have
I might go and get a new one just to start fresh

set bios to boot from cd rom, did not work. went right to hd
should I flash the bios, could the problem be mb related?
