Hello every one i am new to this board.I have two windows xp systems connecter in a network though cross over cat5 cable directly. i have an extra ethernet card attached to one system to which i have a broadbant internet connecton.I am not having any router or switch or hub .so any one can plz tell me can i share the same internet connection in both the systems.

You can use Internet Connection Sharing through Windows XP.

I would strongly suggest that you get a router, it'll make things much easier and you won't have to have both machines on to share the connection. Have a hardware firewall is always recommended anyway.
