Sluggish Performance on Laptop

Hello again all--

This time around it's the 'in-laws laptop I'm working on; cleared up everything as per instructed in the preliminary instructions and while it is a bit more responsive, it's still fairly sluggish. Here's the .logs and such, advise please before I recommend a fresh reformat and install. Many thanks!

AVG Antirootkit results: none
AVG Antispyware results: Just a tracking cookie

Those logfiles are both clean mate.

Maybe a reformat is in order.

Thanks for the prompt reply Howard -- thought it looked pretty clean myself but figured I'd see if you noticed something I hadn't -- alrighty, I'll let them know this is the best it's gonna be without an 'overhaul'. Thanks!

The HijackThis log is clean.

Reformatting your hard drive might speed the PC up, but before you do that, you might try doing some of the stuff mentioned in this thread.
