Nope - non-smoker here always 100% - don't come near me if you smoke as I'll walk away.. No smoking allowed in the car, house no where..

i personally dont like people smoking around me and i dont smoke myself. but i agree with Rik about trying to cause an argument lol

I have quit smoking ... :D
I smoked since I was 15 and I'm now 26.

It was the hardest thing I have ever done. Mentally you must be strong, as your sub-concious urges you to smoke! But I made it through (2 weeks now) and I'm never going back!

So ... can someone change my poll answer to NO instead of YES? ;)

I've heard that nicotine patches help to reduce the withdrawl symptoms, and also help in kicking the habit permanently.

i'm actually amazed that i don't smoke. so many of my friends do. even my father used to. (he quit cold turkey before i was born.) even my BROTHER will take a puff now and then if he is offered one.

i frankly can't stand the stuff. perhaps its conditioning. or perhaps its the noxious chemicals and the smell. i just hate it. whenever i end up walking or biking behind someone having a drag, i have to hold my breath or i choke.

despite that, i could care less if people smoke. you can do as you please so long as you're not choking me with the smoke, or forcing me to smoke too.

nevertheless, i'm proud to say that no i don't.

Nope I don't. Was in some really bad company when I was around 10 when I took it up, but was sort of "forced" to quit after a year because I kept running out of pocket money hehe. Was glad that happened though. =)

Well im 11 so i dont but i think its very addictive because of the smell and since my dad Sometimes smokes. I'm scared that i might try it one day and get addicted to it (probably will try it one day) :D

One time we had to have a managers meeting at our store so there were like 15-20 managers floating around and when most of them got here they 'stood outside' for a couple of minutes before coming in, at one point there were like 10 people out there, including my manager haha

It's kind of like it's compulsory that if you're a store manager (in our company at least ;)) you have to take it up - my manager tried to quit once but we had a really busy week so the stress brought him back. Another guy I work with has tried to quit like 5 times now but never lasts more than a week or so

I'm quite allergic to it - except it doesn't really seem to bother me much when I'm drunk. I'm so sensitive to it that it actually bothers me when the person in the car in front of me is smoking. I'll usually change lanes and pass them.

you think that is bad...try having to sit in a car with the other 3 people in it smoking, and not having the decency to have the windows cracked. it was like i was being baked in it. not pleasant. needless to say i don't take car rides with them anymore.

Never smoked. Made up my mind before I was a teen and it stuck. Probably helped that we lived miles from town, so no peer pressure or access to smokes.

I know what you mean there link. I had to sit in a truck that only had two doors and no backseat to it. The guy that I was with was probably in his 60s or so. I had a 45 minute or so ride with him and he smoked pretty much the whole way. Didn't have the windows cracked either. Now that is terrible. I don't smoke and I can pretty much care less if someone does I just don't like to inhale it. I went to a nascar race (bristol TN) and a ton of people in the stands smoke, you are pretty much covered in the stuff.

I quit smokin cigs about 9 years ago and weed about 3 months ago. I'm still workin on kickin my crack habbit... j/k lol!!!

I tried quitting like 4 times and managed to not smoke 6 months in a row but then it came over me. I think I smoke whenever I feel to have stress. it can be 5 cigs per day but worst case its up to 30...

for those who didn't start smoking yet: keep it up! its not worth it!

If you mean like actually go buy or steal cigarettes then no. However if a friends who has some weed comes over or something sure.

Lmao hey ship master ur a free-loader u dont buy ur own weed, and PC lmfaooo :haha: Sad thing is that there are crackheads that live on my block

I dont smoke Ciggz i play sports onlii weed 4 me and today happens 2 b the day in which I am quitting and getting back into the gym preppin for the season :D

If any of you live in the UK you will know that we have a fierce no public smoking rule now,and it is going to get worse. Me? I have up over 30 years ago and don't regret it. Got fat tho!

good going on blaming getting fat on not smoking, lawls.

I been smoking on average 3 cigs a day only because on weekends i drink and go crazy :p so i smoke more otherwise id probably average 1 or 2 a week. I dont know I think the addiction is trying to creep up on me. I should probably snuff it out before it gets out of hand but its social on drinking days for me.

No. Never. I can sympathise with the OP, I never knew my grandparents, and that was all down to smoking. It's an addictive drug and a killer.

I really hate smoking but I will never hate a smoker. If you smoke it's your thing. Just ask me to join you even after I say "Ummh, thank you but no thanks".

Also, if you say you don't smoke yet you hang around smoker, might as well light up with them. If you must do something, please do it well!

I find it very polite and considerate if someone I'm with asks if I wouldn't mind if he lights up around me.

Haha, i just remembered a documentary I saw years ago titled "Lucky Smoker".

Who is a Lucky Smoker? It said is it a smoker who dies from a non-smoking-related cause.

I'm not sure if this does not include 'smoking accidents' like fire and such.
