Software re-install Problem XP SP2

Hi

I am trying to re-install some software after a re-install of XPsp2 , (vauxhall workshop manual) but it comes up with this message ,:the set up requires a different version of windows ,error 102 .
i have run this on this same XPsp2 with no problem before . has anyone got any idea has to what may be the priblem .

Please see if there is an Error in the Event Viewer that corresponds to the Error 102 message:

Start> Run> type in eventvwr

Do this on each the System and the Applications logs:
1. Click to open the log>
2. Look for the Error>
3 .Right click on the Error> Properties>
4. Click on Copy button, top right, below the down arrow
5. Paste here (Ctrl V)

You can ignore Warnings and Information Events. If you have a recurring Error with same ID#, same Source and same Description, only one copy is needed. You don't need to include the lines of code- if any- in the box below the Description.

This will give us additional information to look for a cause and a resolution.

Sorry for the late reply , I have reinstalled XP , and the software has loaded OK , so i dont realy know what the problem was .
