I thought it was funny.
But I wouldn't condemn any who did or did not.
No the words I used were the ones I wanted. I was expressing dismay over people judging and condemning those who thought this was funny. I get that not everyone thinks this is funny - nothing wrong with that. But there's apparently
some, who's "moral standards" decide what people should find funny or not, and they have expressed that here. Some of it was just from people missing the context, but if one didn't read the article or couldn't determine what others were finding funny, they don't need to condemn those who understood it. I made a few posts trying to clarify the context for those who obviously didn't consider the context. Not sure how one could view that as hostile, unless one needed to to justify their responses.
How was I being hostile? Perhaps you are being overly sensitive (I won't comment on that further
). I don't care if other people find this funny or not. The only issue I expressed at all (outside of merely noting that others were missing the context and not understanding was actually funny to most people), was dismay in the fact that others who didn't think it was funny, for various reasons, were flexing their perceived morale high ground muscle to
judge those who thought it
was funny or had actually read and understood the context or who had watched the presentation and knew what the article was referring to (although the ability to understand was there within the article).
Please don't project on to me, or make assumptions about me. Thanks.
