i bought a q tec soundcard 5.1 and everthing was fine until went on msn when i cant here the other person but they can here me if i do voice then add cam works but video conversation doesnt any ideas thanks.

goto control panel>sounds and audio devices>audio
Sound playback default audio has a drop down menu.. check if its on the right sound card/driver

yes its on and the right drivers are in it works when put on voice then add web but not in video conversation thanks anyway.

MSN has its own audio/video setup wizard. Did u sucessfully complete that first?

think the motherboard not compatable with it going invest in up to date mother and processor
