With Trump in power there won't be any regulatory legislation at all.

Unfortunately many other people will suffer the consequences of Trump and his supporters that voted for him.

I don't like too much regulation, unless it's regulation that favours foreign influence and jurisdiction. Then I have a problem. All Americans should be in favour of that. It's what made our nation what it is. Stop pandering to outside influences. Embrace AI, learn about it, install it on your local computer, read the tech papers, read the AI news. If you regulate it now, we'll all suffer.
