Yeah..... it just sounds like you don't like the guy, so anything he says or does is the worst thing ever. How cranky of you
Each and every one of us carries with us both a motive, and an ulterior motive, for everything we say or do. Elon Musk is certainly no exception. We choose which aspect of him we want to espouse. Our areas of observation obviously diverge.. Still, that doesn't make you completely right, or me completely wrong. Or as you so "deftly" put it, "cranky"..
This may not be the best (or most convenient) way of giving kids internet to do their homework, but at the least it might spawn more people to do more (in more areas).
Well, I live, "in da hood", infested with human excrement, the drug dealers, the drug addicted, the displaced. and the insane.. The latest generation of which kills without remorse or regret. Hence it's more than fair to label them as, "sociopaths". We fantasize we can help them, but the issues are so pervasive and ingrained, it's a task worthy of comparing to Sisyphus' epic failure.
99% of us merely enjoy, adapt, subvert, and abuse, the contributions and advancements of the other 1%.
As far as getting our children. to do "homework" on a school bus, that might be more successful in Japan, India, or China. Countries where a semblance of the traditional family unit still exist. Here in the US there are far more pressing issues for the kids:
A: Being aware of their surroundings.
B: Learning how to duck and cover.
C: Absorbing the latest lyrics to ultra violent, ultra profane, ultra racist, "gansta rap" rants. (NO. I don't categorize ir as "music". How provincial of me).
D: Taking the latest "Tik Toc challenge.
E: Harassing someone on social media to the point of their committing suicide.
F: (The foregoing are just the tip of the iceberg).
All of this over-arched by the uncertainty of wondering whether or not they'll even survive the school day.
Musk reminds me of a secular Joel Osteen preaching, "if you give me more money, I'll show you the way to salvation".
.(BTW, people have been keying in on my chosen screen name pushing toward 20 years. So your use of it isn't cute, clever, original, or creative. The term, "hackneyed", would be closer to the truth).
