PROCESSOR-AMD Sempron™ 3600+
OPERATING SYSTEM-Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic - English
MEMORY-1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs
HARD DRIVE-250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™
VIDEO CARD-256MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO edit
MODEM & WIRELESS 56K PCI Data Fax Modem

Will this set-up do the job? Is 256MBs and 1GB of RAM enough to do the job?

Recommended Specifications

Windows® System 2000/XP OS:

- Intel Pentium® IV 1.5 GHz or AMD XP 1500+ MHz
- 1024 MB RAM
- 64 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX 5700 class card or above
- Broadband Internet connection
- Two-button scroll-wheel mouse

should be fine just make sure you get directX 9.0c

WoW is a dated (and to me old looking game) so your specs should be fine, just be aware that you need a broadband connection.

the original wow is dated. but the new expansions they have, i.e. burning crusade, those are fairly new. but anyway. broadband connection does in fact make a huge difference. if i see people with a 56k modem trying to do some online gaming, i just want to smack them in the face. A) it's a futile attempt because it's too slow and B) you're slowing everyone else down. make sure you've got a cable connection or something.

YES, get more RAM. 2gigs would be much better for running vista. 1gig is more than enough for playing WOW, but 2gigs would be good just to run vista better.
