Fluctuating global temperatures over time is climate change. Man irreparably altering that cycle and turning the world into an unlivable planet is the fearmongering.



Lesson time, ladies and gentlemen. This ^^^ is what projection looks like.

Just moments before typing this, Scorpion accused me of not knowing the difference between weather and climate. He then immediately cites weather as evidence of climate change, further emphasizing that geopolitics and war is, in fact, intrinsically a part of climate change.

You'll note that this has been a favorite go-to for MMCCBs since around 2013, when "climate as war" first became popular.

None of these thoughts are actually his own. Rather, some official-looking dudes told him some very scary things about the future (not unlike the Vatican back in the day) and he simply evangelizes, being careful to remind us that unbelievers will suffer God's wrath:



There are people who have meaningful discussions about this topic. And by that I mean people who believe in man made climate change who have productive conversations. This guy surrounds himself with people who agree with him on most issues, and therefore only cites talking points as a result of never having to actually deconstruct the subject matter beyond "I know, right?"

I think its funny when people compare **** to Game of Thrones. I never watched it so I have no idea what the hell people are talking about.

So far I've collected the first 5 seasons on DVD or Blu-Ray. I only watched the first few episodes of season 1. I plan on buying all seasons until the finale, and then binge watching the entire show until its conclusion. I figure that's the only way to stave off the, "OMG I have to know what's going to happen next or I'll explode", sentiments this program seems to invoke.

I'll share a few conclusions I've drawn thus far; It was nice to see Jason Momoa, (from "Stargate Atlantis"), getting work. (at least while it lasted).

There are so many women from the Caucasus region that look better without clothes than Emilia Clark, (Daenerys Targaryen).

If you took away all the killing, dragon eggs, gratuitous nudity and, "White Walkers", you have a show resembling the American soap operas, "General Hospital, or, "All My Children".

I bet these are the same people saying it was "global warming" before. The major factor in climate has always been the sun and the major source of CO2 has always been the sea. Yes as grade school science would inform you that the oceans do produce oxygen. What they did not tell you is that the last ice age was caused by tremendous amounts of CO2 escaping the oceans(which contain FYI the largest deposit of CO2 on earth). And to address your 2nd point, keeping the world clean by using inefficient means of energy production leads to higher power costs that would spell death for industries both big aand small. For that you get a country that cannot possibly compete globally and will soon get you acquainted with hunger and starvation. This was never an easy problem to start with thats why a balance must be had to properly address both the economy and pollution.

1. The Paris accord has a voluntary self chosen commitment. The 3Bil $ was a choice the US made, not imposed by anyone else. So no threat to sovereignty -Pres Trump flat out LIES/is clueless AF.

2. Bad deal? The USA CHOSE the deal themselves , they chose their own commitment level.

3. Unfair to USA alone? the rest of the world gets a free ride? None of the other countries pulled out, they are all going through the same struggles. China ponied up MORE MONEY than USA , are they benefiting/getting a free ride?

Uh, no. The non-binding and unenforceable Paris agreement was NEVER presented to the U.S. Senate for approval. I don't think it was submitted to the France congress either, but I am not certain.
