The FBI advises users to install ad blockers

I really hope Google DOES cripple ad blockers so people will stop using their spyware masquerading as a browser. I wonder how the FBI even found a moment to put out this warning?

It is the plugin maker who actually takes money to start accepting, acceptable ads. But I run with 2 adblockers and in the future I'm setting up my own local DNS to actively block anything on the whole network such as Pihole.

I'm sorry, as long as there is no human verification upon ad placement, and not AI that is being circumvented all the time I'm not joining or be target to be profiled. Best example is you seek on complaints and the next day your getting things suggested to your complaints.

Ads had their best time, esp the evasive ones.

NextDNS with filtering does excellently, and the yearly fee is affordable.
One could also try filtering using Adguard and/or Safing Portmaster.

Ublock Origin on Firefox browser with Medium mode and whitelisting for JavaScript.
Firefox itself with Strict anti-tracking mode.
I've looked more deeply at ad-blocking DNS since this article and I have my network DNS working again. My initial choice for an ad-blocking DNS will be Quad9. I may try NextDNS as a backup should Quad9 not perform as well as I would like it to.
