Read: we will intensify spying on EU. Probably chancellor Merkel loo is already bugged... Next will be microwave and trash bin.
Now you listen Buster, you can just barely opt out of Google "Chrome", theses days. Why would you think you can say, "we don't want US surveillance", and not get it anyway? There is no check box you can "un-tick.". Having the US' collective nose up your behind is like malware, you get it whether you want it or not. Now, turn your head and cough while saying, "God bless the USA".....You need to be checked for a moral hernia...But it is our understanding that US citizens have no privacy whatsoever, so please, our answer in Europe is no thanks.
You need to go back and read this thread from the beginning. (At least posts 7 to 14, or so). Trust me, "the bad joke", aspect of this topic has been thoroughly embellished. Is it not a way to 'extend & legitimize' US's power to control European's privacy, in which ever way the deem it fit? Creating such laws regarding other nations is nonsense, a political gimmick at best, a bad joke at worst.
