Upgrade from GeForce 7050/nForce 610i

Would like to upgrade from my current GPU and power supply to something more discrete and powerful. Probably a mid-range GPU will suffice, with from 0.5-1.0Gb of its own memory. Not a gamer, but do photo work and a little video editing. The current GeForce 7050/nForce 610i GPU isn't bad, but isn't sharp and crisp, either, for close photo work. More specs below. Please advise, with thanks in advance.

What's your budget?

In all probability you'll have to change your PSU to be able to power the GPU.

My budget is $200-$250. That would be for GPU and PSU together, if possible.

Well i guess then you may choose to look at ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB ram, and OCZ-500MXSP 500W PSU.

With shipping it may get just over 250 mark but i believe its worth every bit.

I'll second Archean. However, if you're not gaming, the HD 5750 would suit you fine.
