I'm surprised so many people voted for "Oldy McOld", doesn't look like the person who submitted it really cares about his PC. The dust and the few prior upgrades just makes me think he's not very invested into his PC. While I understand there may be more going on in his life, its not too hard to save some money on a few meals and craigslist hunting for significantly better parts with little investment. Even as a student with no income except loans, I managed to get some new parts for my PC by finding a $300 place to rent, turning off AC even in the AZ summers (except to sleep), and never eating out.

I find myself drawn to voting for the rigs that actually look like some work has been put into them. I like to see that the machine looks like it's managed and well kept; not a neglected dust bin. I don't know why, but towers that are just dirty cable rats nests with 10+ year old hardware makes me think you bought an old pre-built just for the contest.
