USB works on any computer but mine

I have a problem that my USB works on any computer but mine, I have tried connecting it to three computers and it is recognized.

my laptop shows notification says''USB device not recognized..the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows doesn't recognize it''
windows 10-Lenovo ideapad 510

P.S:
-I have tried almost all the device manager solutions.
-My USB ports are not damaged as other USBs and hard drives are normally recognized.

One other thing to look into after that, download and run SDI far better update tool than even going to the manufactures website for drivers/chipset updates https://sdi-tool.org/download/
the tool isn't flashy, but they aren't trying to sell you anything like others. I use this tool myself after fresh installs or fixing computers.
so good that when I have the cash, I want to donate a huge chunk of change to these guys that developed it.

Hi. I do not believe in 3rd party driver programs. No one knows drivers better then the manufacture.
I realize that some times on older machines, the manufacture may not always keep the drivers updated, but I doubt if any 3rd party driver program has a better driver then the manufacture. That's my opinion. I always say "Go with what works well for you".
Here's a good article about drivers by HTG. I try to live by this.
https://www.howtogeek.com/233115/the-only-way-to-safely-update-your-hardware-drivers-on-windows/

I have the msi mpower z77 board, I think only 1 other board may have been more expensive for the z77 platform. the drivers listed for the vast majority of them were from a year after launch and then updates stopped.
Worst than that, the drivers they provided, were pretty broken.
windows doesn't even have driver updates, if I only were to install the ethernet driver from msi, windows update finds 1 item my logitech keyboard/mouse. if I use sdi, EVERYTHING including what windows has for an update all update to their latest driver or chipset. the logitech install is actually old and once installed needs updated again via the logitech software.
Chipset updates are never, in my experience on win updates.
This program doesn't install, doesn't have a paid option, it's simply geeks like you'd find here that made a tool to actually get work done.
now if we're talking about iobit or others like them, yeah, they are trash and just cash grabs for tools that suck.
People like myself that work on tons of computers, use this software like it's the holy grail.

the above info holds true on both windows 7 and 10. neither has the latest drivers or chipset updates for this board.

Hi. I'm not putting your driver program down. I have never used it, and this is the first time I have heard about it.
I can only go by what I have experienced in the past, and what I have learned from others. Also I'm not familiar with your board.
If it works for you, then "Go For It" I doubt if Windows will get into chipset updates, but I think they are trying hard to keep some driver updates current. That will open a whole different discussion!:D:eek:

I've tried all the options for the paid ones, they all suck.
I was highly suspect of this one but after a few other uber techies told me I should try it, it's been nothing but a blessing.
The interface looks dated, it's very function over aesthetics, that almost had me not using it.
after I got over the look of it, I remembered a lot of the stuff I build, is very basic looking when I'm trying to go for functional.

give it a shot, might become your favorite tool.

Hi. My favorite tool is Macrium Reflect. As long as I have a backup image of my OS, nothing scares me.
I will give the tool a look. We better git back on topic, before we get in trouble.;)(y)
