Video Card Problem or Bios

I have a Asus P4R800-VM mobo with onboard video, trying to install new video card,ATI Sapphire X1650 Pro, 8X AGP Version 512MB DDR2 Memory. When first install and 1st boot works fine then demands restart. This is when I get Blue screen, don't have time to read any error messages. I can not find any way to disable the onboard card in bios, so I'm not sure if that is the problem. Any help would be very appreciated, I know everyone has problems, I really tried to do this before writing this. Thanks in advance.

if you have onboard video, you MUST disable it before installing an external card. If you cannot, then you cannot use an external card. The mobo must be very low end.
