video problem in windows movie maker??

when i start my capture i have to actually drag the window off screen and back on before i can see my video.

other wise there is just a black screen

so i hit start capture then the camcorder starts but still black screen then i grab the preview window drag it off screen and back then i can see the video

just wondering if anybody knows how to fix

i have a ge force 6800 gt video card

abit fatality motherboard

p4 3.2 ghrtz processor

2 g memory

Make sure you only have the 1 monitor set up and don't have your desktop spanned to a tv!!!!
Ive never had the problem you describe but what i suggested may help!!!!

it probally has nothing to do with your computer its just the was windows movie maker is. I use it on 3 differnt computers and they all have differnt glitches

( i use the same camera for all 3 comps)
