Viruses/programme crashes.

hi everyone.. i have a serious problem..
everything was going on fine, then suddenly,, i started getting these REPORT AN ERROR popups.. whenever i open any program like msn , yahoo, mcafee virus scan, anything,, even the internet browser, the program crashes in like 2 seconds and i get a popup.. DO U WANT TO SEND AN ERROR REPORT.. i've searched the web for a solution but i didn't find anything..
p.s : I'VE been getting temp2.exe REPORT also, i think it's a virus, but i don't know where it came from.. please help me anyone..

the temp2.exe file is nasty.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

thanx for replying.. but actually my main problem is not with temp2, It's with all the other programs crashing once i open them and then getting the popup asking to me to send an error report.. any idea what that could be ?

Depending on what infections you have on your system, it could be malware that`s causing your problems. Therefore, we need to clean your system, before dealing with any other problems that may be left after that. See HERE for info on the temp2.exe file.
