Is there a new virus? I keep getting a popup that says I have 7 viruses, among them a trojan. Sometimes they mention softonic which has sometimes been reliable for me in the past. I think it happens a lot after I'm on youtube too. I have run my malwarebytes and it shows no infection. The pop ups always mention Macafee which came with the relatively new computer and has since expired so it advertises renewal. I have had some Norton popups too so I am not sure that it has anything to do with eitrher Norton or Macafee. I am concerned about this because when I run my malwarebytes it shows no infections. It always pops up when I first open a browser (Google Chrome). I have noticed nothing from Edge but I don't use it much.
