Vista "pictures" folder will not open when clicked.

So my vista "pictures" folder will not open when I click it on the start menu. It does nothing when clicked. I can access the folder if I go to my user name and open the folder however. This happened ever since I moved quite a few pictures from an external hd into my "pictures" folder. When I right click "pictures" the properties box is totally blank. Also, save/save as does not work in the vista "snipping tool" anymore. Not sure if that's related to my original problem or not. (Save/Save As works fine in paint).

Any help is appreciated.

So any chance a "repair install" will help, I already tried system restore, and it "cannot complete successfully."

one of the reasons u're haveing problems and cannot get help is no one noes the answeres.
