Wanting to build a PC

The Executioner Laptop from KillerNoteBooks has been reviewed by Tom's Hardware here and by TechWare labs here. It is quite a bit cheaper than the Alienware laptops and has the Core 2 Duo too. Only thing is, it doesn't have dual video cards. But it still is a very powerful gaming laptop. If you do want dual video cards, try the Assassin-X2. Fully decked out, it still works out cheaper than the Alienware Aurora mALX with the same specifications.

Danger, risk of fire, check the batteries...

I take it the laptop would insure that no gaming withdrawal symptoms occurred should the necessity arise to leave the house.

Oh, it sounds as though you might have to plug the AC adapters to these things into a separate circuit.

Rage_3K_Moiz, I think you misunderstood me.

I never said that the X1950Pro is definately inferior, in fact, I did mention that I only read one review. I am trained for research, and all my training says: don't trust one single article. No matter how trustworthy the writers are (Hardocp has pretty good reviews imo, mainly cause they're different).

Thanks for the links, I'll read through them later.

p.s, I JUST bought an X1950Pro, with the knowledge that the 8600 series were on its way out.

I didn't direct all that specifically at you CMH. They were just rhetorical questions! ;)
Also, I'm a university student and even I was taught not to trust everything, but the fact that the other reviews are from equally reputed sites like AnandTech just had me wondering about the credibility of the one from HardOCP, that's all.

People prefer nvidia. I would definitely buy one of their cards if you intend on gaming. Tools is only a screw driver and mayb phillips and flat head. Dont know anything about the U.K but building a PC is difinitely not that hard.

As for Alienware Computers, they SUCK..Too much money!

Rage_3K_Moiz: Okay :D

Went to those sites, and you seem to be right. Some new reviews also show the same results, and any performance lead seems negligible anyway.

Seems like my choice of the X1950Pro is a good one.
