Weekend Open Forum: What's the best game you played this year?

I actually bought Warlords of Draenor and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. I reconnected with some old friends from prior expansions.

Nobody enjoyed Alien: Isolation but me?!? I thought that game was incredibly immersive and thrilling. I can't tell you how many times I jumped playing that game... On the rift it was twice as terrifying!

I have yet to play it. Plan on grabbing a copy sometime next year.

To be honest there was only one game that interested me this year and that was AC Unity, we all know how that turned out so I gave it a miss as well
The last game I bought and played was Batman Origins, I quite enjoyed it.

Lethal League, Gang Beasts and Strike Vector have all been really fun to play with mates. Haven't been excited by any of the "big" games in some time!

Toss up between Dragon Age: Inquisition (currently still playing) for overall game play and South Park: Stick of Truth laughter and having fun. Wolfenstein was up near the top of the list also. All three have different game play styles, and all three were fun to play.

Hearthstone. I probably played more Hearthstone than any other game this year. I agree with the guy above that Wolfenstein was probably the best story in a game this year though.

Frogger!

It's the only game I have, and I just played it a few months ago.

There were some good games, the ones other mentioned, but not one was good enough for me to mention. And these new games just don't catch my attention anymore, I never feel like wanting to play them.

Former games where Kixeye Battle Pirates and War Commander but they don't come close even to Star Trek Game.

This is from Star Trek Online - Delta Rising

Im playing it for a year and half and I spent something like 10 bucks or 20 tops

I have poured almost 100 hours into Dragon Age Inquisition which is a fantastic game, however the GOTY has to be Hearthstone.

After only releasing this year it has quickly gained a huge player base and the streamers alone have a huge following. I am currently playing through Far Cry 4 and have finished Assassins Creed Unity, Shadow of Mordor, CoD Advanced Warfare, Lords of the Fallen, Dragon Age and the list goes on.

Hearthstone is the only one I play almost daily and maintains being fun and interesting

Skyrim, well actually more mod writing for it, so its CK and papyrus Skyrim
