Batman Arkham Asylum - really, really enjoying this.

As usual (for me), this game prompted a complete refresh of my 4 year old home rig - new video card, cpu, ram, m/board - the works

Heh, I remember, my first computer got a Hercules card to play Leisure Suit Larry, then a VGA monitor and card to play Space Quest and Kings Quest, then later (gasp) a Soundblaster and RAM and CPU upgrade to play Wing Commander; and so it went over the years...new games, new hardware upgrades.

Doom 2 and Dyna Blaster.... :)

Just Kidding.
I bought GTA IV, after failing desperately to run the pirated one and now after much playing, I am satisfied with though I still remember the drunk(swaying) screen on pirated copies of the game, finally RockStar made me buy one of their games..

I'm more of a mind games player. I didn't purchased it yet, but I like this one World of Goo (http://www.worldofgoo.com/)

Last game I bought... would have to be Neverwinter Nights, the mod community is enormous and the game itself is endless, multiplayer introduces more endless gaming with friends.

The last game I purchased Football Manager 2010. It doesn't have the graphics of the FIFA series, but it a different type of game focused on the management of a soccer team. I would recommend it to any soccer fan. A demo is available.

I purchased Borderlands (PC) last week when it was released, but didn't get around to playing it until last night. The game is a lot more fun than I thought it would be - minus the part where your friends immediately take every rare gun that drops. Other than that, the game is a blast. I only wish hosting was easier for the general population. Currently the only way I am able to play with my friends is one of them had to open about 5 ports, host a game, invite me, wait until I time out, then re-host a new game. In other words, hosting is really buggy -.- Oh, also I wish there was some sort of achievement list so I could actually try and unlock certain things instead of just guessing what the challenges are.

The last game I bought was Red Faction:Guerrilla for PC a little over a month ago and it has been awesome....definitely worth every penny! The game doesn't seem to get old and it's a blast considering every structure (except for the landscape) can be destroyed! My next game will be Dragon Age: Origins which I have preordered (should arrive tomorrow!!!) Can't wait!!

I don't play a lot, but the last game purchased was the orange pack from steam, at a special price, as announced by techspot. Thanks guys!

Last game I bought was Call of Duty 4 MW. And to be honest I thought the game was awful. I absolutely can not stand first person shooters where people that pray and spray like crazy are the ones at the top spots when the game ends. Sure you can be very careful and achieve a decent K/D ration ,but even then some idoit spraying like crazy will somehow get one bullet hit that kills you. I want a COD where skill > pray and spray. EA Please Please release a Battlefield 3 that plays somewhat like Battlefield 2 so I can enjoy a online FPS again.

Not a game i bought but just something i want to say about Sims 3. I would absolutely love it if it came with the ability to play on a network. I want to be able to play my guy, while my wife plays hers at the same time so we can play together. Add support for this and i'll buy, otherwise i think its a peice of crap thats only purpose is to milk fans of the series for money one expansion at a time.

Deus Ex is best game of all time IMO!

I second that. I loved Deus Ex. Shame about the follow up, it was still a good game, just not as good as the first. Still, I can't wait to play the 3rd installment, I've been trying so hard not to look at spoilers, gonna save the whole experience for release day!

My most recent game purchase was Resident Evil 5 and i still enjoy playing that game. Myself and my wife both love this game and definitely can say that it is worth its pricegtag. I also L4D and i liked that game too. I' m looking forward to the release of L4D2 and i think if you are patiently waiting for any thing time goes very slow. Its so frustrating that i can't get it now :)

the current game i am playing, i didn't have to pay for.

League of Legends is mighty good fun, and free to play.

I really hope this "real money for DLC to support the game" idea grabs hold.

The last game I bought was actually Freelancer for $10 from Walmart. It's an old title, but I just suddenly got the urge to play it again.

I think the last game i bought was the WotLK expansion for WoW, if we are just counting PC games. Games in general would be Monster Hunder 2: Freedom for the PSP.

Although I am really eying that Dragon Age Origins game right now that supposed to come out today for PC

Well the last game I purchased was Little Big Planet for ps3, but the last pc game I purchased was Assassins Creed on steam for only 5 dollars it was a steal.

The last game I bought was a preorder for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 followed by Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 preorder. Then World in Conflict Gold edition, Company of Heroes Gold edition, Supreme Commander Gold edition, and Bioshock. The latter 4 games I got for a total of $20 thanks to Direct2Drive's weekly specials they were doing a few weeks ago!!!

Wow! Thats funny cause I just last week bought The First decade to play Yuri's Revenge online. Best fun ive ever had! Also I bought left4dead2. Im dissapointed Valve didn't offer some sort of discount to people that owned the original l4d though.
