When I open/close the disk drive on my computer, realtek pops up a message and says a jack has been unplugged when I open and jack has been plugged in when I close it. But my whole computer lagg's really really bad for about a minute. I don't know what is up. Very weird. Just tell me if you have any ideas guys.

Thanks. =D

What disk drive is it. What is brand, model, and configuration?
Has the jack been found unplugged when you get the error message?
Do you find any red or yellow flags in device manager (Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager)?

The disk drive is a SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223F - OEM
Model #:SH-S223F. And there was a Exclamation mark next to one of my Mass usb storage drives but I updated the driver, same problem, but I uninstalled it and there were minor laggs but it still pops up in realtek. Maybe reinstall realtek?

I would try a different disk drive... If the Samsung is out of alignment, you could have even more problems.

Well I have always used this one. Never had any problems until I reformatted due to a bad virus.
