What is your favorite food?

My favorite are these small carrot to chew for fun

Yeah, ditto. ;) I clean and slice raw carrots into thin strips -- along with raw celery. I put them in a small dish, seal that with a piece of Saran wrap, and put the dish into the fridge. I go back to it when I feel the need to chew on something.:D No salt, no dipping sauce. I acquired the habit when I quit smoking.

I gave up eating junk food, as well -- but oh, how I miss potato chips and Cheetos!

Now I snack on carrots and celery, instead. :'( :D

Yes, I love them too. My local Fred Meyer (Kroger) has 2lb. bagged carrots for .99 cents. I got 10 lbs. in my fridge. :)

That is so cheap, are you living in usa? (I know food in usa is very cheap)

After working the US for a year and away from my hometown, Ottawa, Canada, I can honestly tell you I missed GOURMET POUTINE!! First, poutine (pooh-teen) is a quebecois invention: thin cut fries with curds and chicken gravy. 15 years ago it went national in Canada, coast to coast. About 5 years ago, "poutineries" started where you can make a meal out of your poutine by adding extras like bacon, sausage, mushrooms, ... My fav is the Christmas/Thanksgiving variety: poutine + turkey, cranberries and stuffing! MMMMMMMMMMMMM!!

Another fav are montreal style jewish bagels. Love them warm, with big slab of peanut butter and a glass of milk!
