Why locked??

I posted in my thread earlier https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/thank-you-to-all-vets.183556/ not knowing the link would show other tweets of mine. I tried to remove the post but it would not let me, now I see its locked shut. Why?? I even tried to delete the link, it did not work.

I locked the thread, it's coming from 2012 and there are no replies or discussion other than you posting links for quite some time (that's not a community discussion but a link repository of sorts, and not something we want to have in the forums). Also I only deleted the two posts you asked, nothing more.

The decision is not regarding the content, but that the thread is no longer a discussion. It's just you posting links there. That is better suited for a blog, Twitter, or some other content medium.
