Win XP Pro sp3 lost remote desktop connection

I'm an ***** who didn't read before installing SP3. I've managed to uninstall it and recovered most of the files that were changed except for my imbedded remote desktop connection. I've recovered the shortcut, however when I try to open it I get the following error message:

The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\<LANG_NAME>\mstsc.exe.MUI

How do I recover this or replace it with the rdc on microsoft's website?

Start->Run-> sfc /scannow
It is stated to remove Antivirus or any other resident protecting programs (after doing a full scan first ) before doing these updates

Once the sfc /scannow is completed, then update to SP3 again (Well worth it :grinthumb )

Sorry I wasn't specific enough

the error messsage is referring to the remote desktop connection. it appears that the file has vanished from the folder and I've done a search for it and it is no longer in my system that I can find. I went to Microsoft online to load their rdc but it comes up with message that it is already installed in the XP programs. I don't have the xp discs to recover it.

Newegg is selling XP CDs with SP3 already on the disc. (including the key )
