first i want to say hellow to the community, and i have a problem i hope you can help me solve, i have a harddrive with win2003 server that harddrive was in an old pc and i want to change that harddrive to a new pc, i allready tried but i can't get the operative system to start i get an hardware error from the new pc once is starting some people tell me it's because of the change of hardware and win2003 can't recognice the new hardware and so can't start is this truth?? if is, how can i make work in the new pc?? thank you in advance.

You need to reinstall and re-register Win2003 when you move the hard drive.

If you desperately need to get the same install of 2k3 running, you have to do a "repair" install. Mind you, it is much better to just do a clean install and then copy any needed data from the old drive.
