Windows Start Button Not Working

Hi All,

I have Windows10 Pro. I have attached a picture to show what my start button does when click on it. It does nothing. The PC gave me no warning. I can't even restart or shut it down from here. I run radio automation software on this, and it is useless now. Is this a crash? When I am able to reboot, I do okay for a bit. But it does south if you do anything on it. Is there a fix or is it a doorstop? Thanks for any help.

Try CTRL, ALT, DEL buttons at the same time. It will bring up a menu in the center of the window and at the right lower corner will be a power button to click and shut it down.

Try restarting your PC in Safe Mode to see if the Start button works there. If it does, it might be a software conflict. You can also run the System File Checker by opening Command Prompt as an admin and typing sfc/scannow.
