I am having some issues with slowdowns and BSOD's on my laptop. The issues started yesterday with sluggish performance, BSOD and shutdowns by itself.

I hope someone can help me decode these.

First we strongly urge all XP users to update to Service Pack 3 for security reasons. No, it will not cause system issues/freezes. That is old, old news that is no longer relevant.

Second, nothing was definitively cited in your dumps but with the sluggish performance this sounds like there might be a possibility of infection. I suggest at this time to go to our Virus and Malware Removal forum, read the Updated 8 Step sticky, follow the steps as given in the order given and that forum post there with the required logs attached.
