I own/use several of these cameras, both the original, and the PanCam. I would encourage anyone who purchases to do so from Amazon. Ordering direct from the company is frustrating at best. I live two states away from the shipping location, and it's never been less then a full week for the product to arrive.....once they decide to ship, which has been 2-4 days after the order is placed. So more realistic is 9-10 BUSINESS days to be delivered after ordering.
I've had flawless service from the original WyzeCam, but the PanCam is what I consider hit-n-miss. Of the 3 PanCams that I own, 2 of them are a constant problem, freezing/failing, and requiring power cycling at least 1-2 timer PER DAY. This is a major issue if you depend on remote monitoring.... if it needs power cycling, and your out of the area, it's worthless. Movement creates issues with the "live view" mode.....creating various level of pixelation , sometime making the images unrecognizable. Overall I would say there is a reason for the cheap price, it performs like a cheap camera, with cheap components. That being said, if you don't expect too much, you'd likely be OK with these cameras.
