X700 not drivers not installing

Ok i have a ati x700. i try to install the drivers it says its not compatable. I know for a fact it should work cause it has on this same computer before. i had to do a reformat but now it just dosnt want to go any idea's on how to get it working ?> the onboard card is a nividia.

Remove the addon video card
Fully install the onboard video, drivers and all
Install the addon video card
Install the updated drivers
Did it work?

ive already done that and for as i can tell all the drivers and such are installed. still giving me the message
