XP - Service Pack Issue

Ok, the basic problem is...I have a program which upon install keeps telling me to update to service pack 2...But I am running service pack 3...So I am a little confused as to why the program is telling me I need to update!

Could it be I missed something when updating or something was not quite installed? I have tried using the windows site but unfortunately it doesn't work in Firefox and IE seems to not realize I have a internet connection so I am a little stuck for checking there!

Any help with this little problem would be much appreciated!

Try running Windows Update manually in Custom mode... Service Pack 3 has been out for sometime now and there are a lot more critical updates needed too. because you cannot connect to the Internet, you will have to correct that first. Maybe your computer is infected with a virus or other malware
