ZL blocking file sharing...

I use Zone Alarm firewall on my two computers which are networked through a router, but when i have Zone Alarm turned on it won't let the other computer access the computers files. I even mapped a netwrok drive and ZL won't allow it to access them. I'm feelin pretty vulnerable without my firewall on, but i would like to be able to share files easily...
I'm also having trouble sharing a printer. I've been trying to get my XP home computer to share a printer with my 98. Their networked fine and i've installed the newest drivers on both and even installed the printer on my XP, but when I print it says "Started" and immediately says "Completed" without printing anything??? Any help would be appreciated....

In ZoneAlarm you will find a setting to allow specific IP-numbers to connect to your PC. Put the IP-number of the other PC or PCs in them. Do this on both PCs.
I don't have ZA so can't tell you exactly WHERE, but I think it is in the Trusted Zone or something like that.
Make sure both PCs are in the same Workgroup.
The above change will probably sort your printer out as well.
