I'm not saying I am for it, but I should be able to attach a machine gun to my car if I want to, and nobody should be able to disable the car remotely. I paid for it and it's mine.

You can do that legally, and apparently even buy a kit to help you do it. The only reason why it was disabled was because it was used by an adversary in a war…
