According to sources, Intel is planning to cut prices on its Pentium 4 and Celeron processor lines next August 22nd as they prepare the launch for the upcoming Pentium 4 570 that will run at 3.8GHz.

A second round of price cuts will come in October for the Pentium M family as they anticipate the arrival of 90nm 'Dothan' core that will increase frontside bus speeds to 533MHz (current PMs run at 400 MHz FSB).
