Research Company F-Secure have said that they have discovered the first in the wild sighting of the Cabir virus. Cabir is a virus that poses a danger not to PCs or Macs, but to mobile phones. The virus is a bluetooth using worm that runs in Symbian mobile phones that support Series 60 platform, and replicates over bluetooth connections. Cabir has spread slowly into 12 countries and marks the beginning of the mobile phone virus era. The infections identified were of Cabir.H and Cabir.I.
