Next month should see Sony launch its 'iPod Shuffle killer'. What is that? Well, it's a compact Flash-based music player with up to 1GB of storage. The device has an OLED read-out into the player's casing, with track details, the time and tuner station information and so forth appearing on the surface of the device. There will be two models, one with an FM tuner (NW-E50x) and one without (NW-40x), both in 512MB and 1GB versions.
