Sun Microsystems will today release the source code for its Java Application Server and Java Enterprise Service Bus at its Java One conference in San Francisco. Used to deliver Java applications and Web services across corporate networks, Java Application Server provides a Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE platform) 1.4 compatible platform for developing and delivering server side Java applications and Web services.
