In what is expected to be just less than two weeks' time, Intel plans to unveil its next-generation processor architecture. The technology, which should be with us in H2 2006, will result in "processors that are high-performance, energy-efficient and multi-core", according to Intel. 23 August looks like the day when CEO Paul Otellini kicks of Intel's bi-annual Developers' Forum, and we should hear more about this exciting new architecture.
