OQO, a company that makes very neat pocket computers, has released a new version of their current model dubbed model 01+. This new guy, weighing it at around $2000, really is a handheld PC. The new model supports USB 2.0 for data transfers and other devices, firewire and WiFi, has a 30GB HDD, a 1Ghz CPU and a whopping 512mb RAM. The device runs of course on batteries and supports standard peripheral devices like keyboards. Essentially a mini laptop, though the price puts it more in the hands of the gadget collector. The features are fantastic though, and a device like this will have a lot of use to someone who travels frequently, especially daily.
