Readers of our site who reside in Singapore will be pleased to hear that they will be able to get their hands on a brand new Xbox 360 pretty soon. Microsoft has confirmed that 2 March 2006 is the date that from Singapore will be able to buy the next generation console.
"The future of gaming is coming. On 2 March 2006 consumers from Singapore will wake up to a new world of digital entertainment as Xbox 360 delivers sheer power, graphically stunning games, rich online gaming capabilities, and features for enjoying music, movies and photos. Xbox 360 delivers high definition gaming and entertainment experiences that simply can't be matched," said Tony Boatman, SEA group marketing manager of the Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft.
There will be a number of game titles available from launch, including "Perfect Dark Zero", "Project Gotham Racing® 3", and "Kameo: Elements of Power."
"These are very exciting times. Xbox 360 stands at the edge of a new frontier that explores the incredible power behind games and entertainment. This is going to be an unforgettable journey," said Boatman.
