RSA Security is to acquire Cyota, a vendor of online security products. In a deal worth an estimated $145 million, RSA Security will provide protection of consumer identities and remote transactions thanks to Cyota. Naftali Bennett, co-founder and CEO of Cyota, has expressed excitement at joining forces with RSA. Art Coviello, RSA president and chief executive officer, was equally pleased.
"Our customers will benefit from enhanced flexibility, and consumers will also be able to enjoy - through their account providers - access to strong authentication and transaction protection solutions that fit their lifestyles and security needs," Coviello said.
