You might recall that we recently ran a story about the Sober worm being used to spread Nazi propaganda? Well, it looks like the planned reactivation date has now passed, with no activity by the virus. That's the word from F-Secure on Friday, who had feared like others that the malware was designed to connect to numerous services this week, coinciding with the anniversary of the formation of German Nazi Party.

"The Sober activation deadline passed around eight hours ago. We've been monitoring the locations of the files that infected machines are now trying to download. So far none of them have been activated," the firm said. "We hope it stays that way."
