In a press release issued today, enthusiast memory manufacturer OCZ Technologies announced the release of an addition to their XTC line, this time specifically for high-end P4 and up-coming AMD machines. The kit is PC2-6400 DDR2 Gold XTC, designed to run at nice timings. DDR2-800 is still not an official standard, but for sure any high end motherboard is going to want to support these higher speeds. According to the press release, this kit will be made available in 1GB and 2GB kits, 512MB and 1024MB module sizes, definitely showing the increasing demand for very large amounts of RAM in desktop systems. Like with other OCZ products, it comes with their XTC heatsink.
